The Speyside Community Car Share Scheme aims to promote the welfare and relieve the needs of those in the community who are socially isolated by reasons of age, infirmity or disability through the provision of a volunteer-based transport service.
We currently have over 20 volunteer drivers and 3 volunteer telephonists who support members within a c.600 square mile area, and over 60% of our journeys are to medical appointments. However we also assist with shopping trips and enabling people to access local amenities and make social visits.
